In a nail-biting encounter, Rajasthan Royals staged a remarkable comeback to defeat Punjab Kings by 3 wickets with a ball to spare, showcasing Shimron Hetmyer's match-finishing prowess.

The match began with RR winning the toss and opting to bowl first, restricting PBKS to a below-par 147/8. Despite efforts from Ashutosh Sharma (31* off 16), PBKS struggled to post a competitive total.

Chasing the target, RR had a solid start with Yashasvi Jaiswal (39 off 28) and Tanush Kotian (24 off 31) adding 56 runs. However, KG Rabada's (2/18) strikes kept RR under pressure.

As the required rate increased, Hetmyer's explosive innings (27* off 10) and Rovman Powell's (11 off 5) cameo ensured RR didn't falter in the chase.

Despite late wickets from Sam Curran, Hetmyer's calm finish, including two sixes off the final over, sealed RR's victory by 3 wickets.
