Sunrisers Hyderabad defeated Mumbai Indians by 31 runs in a high-scoring thriller.

SRH posted 277 runs for 3 Wickets, the highest total in history of IPL, after being invited to bat first.Travis Head and Abhishek Sharma steal the show with cracking batting. Travis Head playing his first IPL game this season, he blasted a 62 runs off 24 balls, while Abhishek Sharma slammed 63 runs off 23 balls including 7 stunning Sixes to lay the foundation of Record Heighest total. Heinrich Klassen unbeaten 80 runs containing 7 huge sixes and Aiden Markram unbeaten 42 runs helps Sunrisers Hyderabad to post 277 runs that's Heighest total of TATA IPL History.

Each MI bowler was taken to the charge. Kwena Maphaka went for 66 in his four overs in his debut match of IPL. The rest of the bowlers also conceded lots of runs expect one and Only Jasprit Bumrah, who went under 10 runs per over!

Winning Captain Pat Cummins :- "That was insane. It's one of those games. It felt like they were finding boundaries whenever they wanted. It was good to finish on the winning side.

In IPL, we have played in front of big crowds and to see him (Abhishek Sharma) play with freedom was good to watch. You never played for 270. We wanted to play positively with the impact player and score aggressively.It's obviously a good wicket. You have to suck up that you will go for some boundaries. The cutters helped in the last phase. First home game here. The crowd was very loud and it was amazing."
