In a dominant display, England Women cruised to victory over New Zealand Women by 8 wickets, sealing the three-match ODI series with a game to spare.

Chasing a modest target of 142, England started aggressively with openers Maia Bouchier and Tammy Beaumont setting the tone. Beaumont's unfortunate run-out for 28 did little to stall England's momentum as Bouchier anchored the innings with a brilliant unbeaten century. Her maiden ODI hundred, achieved in just 88 deliveries, underscored her composure and skill. Captain Heather Knight fell early, but Natalie Sciver and Katherine Brunt ensured Bouchier reached her milestone comfortably in 24.3 overs.

Earlier, New Zealand struggled from the outset after being put in to bat, losing key wickets cheaply under overcast conditions. Amelia Kerr's resilient 43 and Sophie Devine's 28 provided some resistance, but a collapse saw them bowled out for 141 in 41.5 overs. Sophie Ecclestone starred with the ball for England, claiming a five-wicket haul for 25 runs in 9 overs, well-supported by Charlie Dean's 2 wickets and contributions from Lauren Filer, Kate Cross, and Alice Capsey.

England's clinical performance in both batting and bowling departments highlighted their dominance throughout the match, outplaying New Zealand comprehensively. With this win, England Women secured an unassailable 2-0 lead in the series, demonstrating their form and depth heading into the final encounter.
