The clash between RCB and KKR in IPL 2024 was a spectacle to behold. KKR invite RCB to bat first, RCB faced an early setback with the dismissal of skipper Faf du Plessis. However, Virat Kohli's stellar unbeaten knock of 83* off 59 deliveries, coupled with contributions from Cameron Green, Glenn Maxwell, and Dinesh Karthik, guided RCB to a competitive total of 182/6 in their allotted 20 overs, despite KKR'S disciplined bowling that conceded just 4 extras.

In pursuit of 183 for victory, KKR'S opening pair of Phil Salt and Sunil Narine set the stage on fire with a blistering partnership of 86 runs, with 85 coming within the powerplay. Salt's quickfire 30 and Narine's explosive 47 laid a solid foundation. Although both openers departed, Venkatesh Iyer's composed half-century and skipper Shreyas Iyer's unbeaten 39* ensured KKR'S triumph in 16.5 overs, with 15 extras from RCB aiding their cause.

While KKR'S batsmen shone brightly, RCB'S bowlers struggled to contain the onslaught. Vyshak Vijaykumar was the standout performer with figures of 1/23 in 4 overs, while Mayank Dagar and Yash Dayal also chipped in with a wicket each. However, most of RCB'S bowling attack found it tough to stem the flow of runs.
