Persistent rain forced the abandonment of the 2nd ODI between England Women and Pakistan Women in Taunton. Pakistan, chasing a series win, were off to a decent start at 29/0 after 6.5 overs before the weather intervened.
Openers Sadaf Shamas (18) and Ayesha Ameen looked promising, but Just 6.5 overs were possible with Pakistan 29-0 when heavy rain forced the players off the field. England, already leading the series 1-0, will look to seal the series win in the final ODI on Wednesday, while Pakistan will aim to salvage some pride and end the tour on a high.
