Bangladesh etched their name in history by securing their maiden Test victory on Pakistani soil, triumphing with a flawless chase of 30 runs to win by 10 wickets.

The match began with Bangladesh opting to bowl first, a decision that saw Pakistan post a formidable 448/6 declared, thanks to a resilient 240-run partnership between Saud Shakeel (141) and Mohammad Rizwan (171*). In response, Bangladesh outshone the hosts, amassing 565 runs in their first innings, propelled by Mushfiqur Rahim's monumental 191 and crucial contributions from Shadman Islam (93), Litton Das (56), and Mehidy Hasan Miraz (77).
