India Women clinched a 6-wicket victory over South Africa Women, completing a series sweep with a clinical performance.

Opting to bat first, South Africa managed 215 for 8, as the Indian bowlers maintained tight lines. Arundhati Reddy and Deepti Sharma took two wickets each, while Shreyanka Patil and Pooja Vastrakar chipped in with one apiece. Early breakthroughs, including the dismissal of Laura Wolvaardt by Reddy and Marizanne Kapp by Patil, set the tone for India. Late contributions from Mieke de Ridder and Nadine de Klerk pushed South Africa past 200.

In reply, Smriti Mandhana and Shafali Verma gave India a flying start. Verma fell inside the powerplay, but Mandhana continued her fine form, scoring a half-century to follow up her two centuries in the series. Priya Punia, playing her first game, made 28 before perishing. Mandhana's innings ended at 90, missing out on a third consecutive century. Despite losing Harmanpreet Kaur, Richa Ghosh ensured victory with a six, finishing the chase in style.

South Africa's bowlers, including Tumi Sekhukhune, Ayabonga Khaka, and Nonkululeko Mlaba, each took a wicket but couldn't contain India’s batters. This comprehensive win underscores India Women’s dominance in the series.
