England has named five uncapped players in their T20I squad for the upcoming home series against Australia, with three also making the ODI squad. The T20I debutants include batter Jordan Cox, all-rounders Jacob Bethell and Dan Mousley, and pacers Josh Hull and John Turner. Hull, recently replacing Mark Wood in the Test series against Sri Lanka, is also in the ODI squad alongside Bethell and Turner.

The ODI series marks Jofra Archer's return to 50-over cricket after injuries sidelined him since March 2023. Archer, gradually reintroduced in T20Is, was part of England's squad in the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024.

England’s ODI squad also sees the inclusion of Gus Atkinson, Harry Brook, Matthew Potts, and Jamie Smith, all of whom are currently engaged in the Sri Lanka Test series, as England ramps up preparations for the ICC Champions Trophy 2025. Jos Buttler will captain both squads.
