Pakistan asserted their dominance on Day 2 of the Test match against Bangladesh, declaring their first innings at a formidable 448/6. The day was marked by a monumental 240-run partnership between Saud Shakeel and Mohammad Rizwan, rescuing Pakistan from a precarious 16/3. In response, Bangladesh reached 27/0 at stumps, with openers Shadman Islam (12*) and Zakir Hasan (11*) surviving the challenging final overs. Pakistan now holds a commanding lead of 421 runs.

The session breakdown saw Pakistan score 98 runs in the morning, 111 in the afternoon, and 108 in the evening, losing only two wickets throughout the day. Play will resume on Day 3 at 10 AM local time.
