Rashid Khan's Heroics Seal Thrilling Win for Gujarat Titans Over Rajasthan Royals

In a pulsating match at the Pink City Jaipur, the Rajasthan Royals faced off against the Gujarat Titans in a high-scoring affair that kept fans on the edge of their seats until the final ball. The RR inning, led by skipper Sanju Samson's stellar unbeaten knock of 68*, posted a formidable total of 196 runs in their 20 overs, anchored by a brilliant partnership between Samson and Riyan Parag, who scored a scintillating 76 off 48 balls including 5 sixes & 3 fours at strike rate of 158.33.

The Titans' chase began with a fiery start from Sai Sudharsan and skipper Shubman Gill, who crafted a dynamic opening partnership of 64 runs. Despite the loss of early wickets, Gill's masterful 72 off 44 balls with strike rate of 163.64 kept the Titans in the game. However, it was the lower-order heroics of Rashid Khan, who remained unbeaten on 24* off 14 balls, that sealed the match for the Titans.

The match witnessed several twists and turns, including impactful performances from Kuldeep Sen, Yuzvendra Chahal, and the late surge from Rashid Khan and Rahul Tewatia for the Titans. Despite a valiant effort from the Royals, the Titans' depth in batting and Rashid Khan's cool & calm knock under pressure led them to a thrilling victory by 3 wickets, ending the Royals' winning streak for the season of IPl 2024.
