Kingston, Jamaica: The West Indies capped off a dominant performance with an emphatic 8-wicket victory over South Africa in the 3rd T20I, securing a clean sweep in the series.

Opting to bat first, South Africa's innings faltered from the outset. Opener Reeza Hendricks departed cheaply, setting the tone for a shaky start. While Ryan Rickelton and Quinton de Kock offered a glimmer of hope with a modest partnership, both fell within the powerplay. South Africa found themselves in a precarious position at 50/4.

A much-needed partnership between Rassie van der Dussen and Wiaan Mulder temporarily steadied the Proteas' innings. The duo added a vital 77 runs, showcasing aggressive strokeplay. However, Mulder's dismissal followed by a quick dismissal of van der Dussen after his well-compiled fifty curtailed South Africa's momentum. Debutant Patrick Kruger's late cameo of 16 runs helped propel the Proteas to a modest total of 163/7.

West Indies openers, led by a belligerent knock of 69 runs from 26 balls by Johnson Charles, effectively chased down the target. The pair dismantled the South African bowling attack, amassing a formidable 83-run partnership within the powerplay. Charles' dismissal couldn't dampen West Indies' resolve, as they comfortably chased down the remaining runs with 37 balls to spare, securing a comprehensive series win.

Obed McCoy emerged as the most successful West Indies bowler, claiming 3 wickets for 39 runs. Shamar Joseph and Gudakesh Motie provided valuable support with 2 wickets apiece, restricting the South African batting lineup.

This clinical performance by the West Indies highlights their exceptional batting depth and potent bowling attack. The series sweep serves as a significant confidence boost for the home side, while South Africa will head back to the drawing board to address their vulnerabilities before future assignments.
