India to Begin Six-Match Series Against Sri Lanka Later This Month

COLOMBO: Sri Lanka Cricket has announced the dates for the upcoming home series against India, scheduled to begin later this month. 

This bilateral series, featuring three T20Is and three ODIs, will mark the first assignment for India's newly appointed head coach, Gautam Gambhir.

The series kicks off with T20Is on July 26, 27, and 29, all set to take place at the Pallekele International Stadium. Following the T20Is, the action will move to Colombo for the ODI series, starting on August 1.

India, currently engaged in a bilateral series in Zimbabwe, will transition to this highly anticipated contest against Sri Lanka. The series promises to be an exciting test for both teams, especially under Gambhir’s new leadership. Fans and cricket analysts are eagerly awaiting the commencement of this series, which will provide crucial preparation for upcoming international tournaments.
