Pakistan Announces Action-Packed Schedule for International Home Season 2024-25

Pakistan has unveiled a busy and thrilling schedule for the 2024-25 international home season, featuring tours from Bangladesh, England, and the West Indies, alongside hosting an ODI tri-series with New Zealand and South Africa. The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) announced on Friday, July 5, the fixture list which includes seven Tests, multiple ODIs, and T20Is as part of their preparation for the ICC Champions Trophy 2025.

Home Series:-

Bangladesh Tour:

- First Test: August 21-25 in Rawalpindi

- Second Test: August 30-September 3 in Karachi

England Tour:

- First Test: October 7-11 in Multan

- Second Test: October 15-19 in Karachi

- Third Test: October 24-28 in Rawalpindi

West Indies Tour:

- First Test: January 16-20 in Karachi

- Second Test: January 24-28 in Multan


ODI Tri-Series:

- February 8: Pakistan vs. New Zealand in Multan

- February 10: New Zealand vs. South Africa in Multan

- February 12: Pakistan vs. South Africa in Multan

- February 14: Final in Multan

PCB Chair Mohsin Naqvi emphasized the importance of finalizing the schedule well in advance to ensure adequate preparation. "This ensures that both the men's cricket team management and the PCB event staff have sufficient time to prepare, plan, and deliver these series to our very high expectations and standards, showcasing Pakistan as an outstanding cricket nation and the PCB as a thoroughly professional organization," Naqvi stated.


The upcoming season is not only crucial for Pakistan's standing in international cricket but also serves as significant preparation for the ICC Champions Trophy 2025, which Pakistan will host. With Pakistan currently sitting in 5th place in the World Test Championship standings, these matches offer a critical opportunity to improve their position.
