West Indies ended Day 3 of the Test match against South Africa at 145/4 after 67 overs, trailing the hosts' first innings total of 357. The day saw 71.4 overs bowled, with six wickets falling, as rain interruptions played a significant role in disrupting play.

South Africa resumed the day at 344/8, adding 13 more runs before being bowled out for 357 in 117.4 overs. Kagiso Rabada and Wiaan Mulder couldn’t extend the innings much longer, with the West Indies bowlers wrapping up the tail quickly.

In response, West Indies' openers Kraigg Brathwaite and Mikyle Louis provided a solid start, adding 53 runs before Louis was dismissed for 35 by Keshav Maharaj. The Windies skipper, Brathwaite, was run out for 35 just before Tea, leaving the visitors at 114/2.

The rain delays continued to hamper the Windies’ progress, with only 17.4 overs possible in the final session. Keacy Carty (42) and Alick Athanaze (3) both fell, leaving the visitors at a precarious 145/4 at stumps. Kavem Hodge (11*) and Jason Holder (13*) remain unbeaten, as Maharaj led the South African attack with figures of 3/45.
