The West Indies Cricket Board (CWI) has announced their squad for the upcoming ICC Women's T20 World Cup, set to take place in South Africa from February 10 to 26. The squad features a blend of experienced players and promising youngsters, including the highly anticipated return of Deandra Dottin.

Dottin, who holds the record for the fastest century in women's T20Is, retired from international cricket in 2022 citing concerns about the team environment. However, after a year of discussions and negotiations, she has reversed her decision and will be donning the West Indies colors once again.

The squad, led by Hayley Matthews, has undergone several changes since their last T20I series against Sri Lanka. Ashmini Munisar, Mandy Mangru, and the uncapped Nerissa Crafton have been added to the team, while Cherry Ann-Fraser, Rashada Williams, Shabika Gajnabi, and Kate Wilmott have been left out.
