In a thrilling final showdown, India Women emerged victorious against Bangladesh Women, securing a comprehensive 5-0 series win. The final T20 International at Sylhet witnessed a captivating display of cricket, showcasing the talent and determination of both teams.

India Women, after winning the toss and opting to bat first, put up a formidable total of 156/5 in their allotted 20 overs. The innings saw a mix of steady partnerships and quick breakthroughs, keeping the momentum alive throughout.

Opening with Shafali Verma and Smriti Mandhana, India got off to a decent start with a 25-run partnership. However, Bangladesh's Sultana Khatun struck early, dismissing Shafali for a run-a-ball 14. Mandhana, looking set, contributed 33 runs off 25 balls before departing.

The middle order, led by Dayalan Hemalatha and Harmanpreet Kaur, stabilized the innings with a crucial 50+ run partnership. But a flurry of wickets in quick succession saw India lose their way momentarily. Hemalatha's 37 and Harmanpreet's 30 were crucial in steering India past the 150-run mark.

Richa Ghosh's unbeaten 28 off 17 balls provided the late flourish, ensuring India set a challenging target for Bangladesh.

In response, Bangladesh Women fought valiantly but fell short of the target, finishing at 135/6 in 20 overs. Sobhana Mostary and Dilara Akter's early dismissals set the tone for the chase. Despite Ritu Moni's resilient 37 and contributions from Shorifa Khatun (28*) and Rabeya Khan (14*), Bangladesh couldn't overhaul the target.

India's bowling unit, spearheaded by Radha Yadav's 3/24 and supported by Asha Shobana's 2/25, kept the pressure on Bangladesh throughout the innings. While the fielding was not as sharp as in previous matches, India's disciplined bowling sealed the victory.

The series showcased India's dominance in all facets of the game, with standout performances from players like Dayalan Hemalatha, Radha Yadav, and Richa Ghosh. Despite Bangladesh's spirited efforts, India's depth and experience proved decisive, culminating in a well-deserved series triumph.
