LONDON: England Women clinched an unassailable 3-0 lead in the five-match T20I series against New Zealand Women with a 6-wicket victory. Poor fielding plagued the visitors, as they dropped several catches and struggled with ground fielding. Alice Capsey remained unbeaten on 67, guiding England through a challenging chase.
Winning the toss, England chose to bowl. Lauren Filer struck early, dismissing Georgia Plimmer for a golden duck. Suzie Bates and Amelia Kerr steadied New Zealand with a 52-run partnership before Sophie Ecclestone removed Bates in the 8th over.
Following Bates' dismissal, New Zealand lost wickets regularly, but skipper Sophie Devine's unbeaten half-century lifted them to a competitive 141/8, with three boundaries in the final over. Ecclestone starred with the ball, claiming 4/25, while Filer took two wickets, and Sarah Glenn and Freya Kemp chipped in with one each.

In response, England lost Maia Bouchier on the first ball. Sophia Dunkley and Capsey added 66 runs for the second wicket before Dunkley fell. Nat Sciver-Brunt was out for a golden duck, but Capsey found support in Amy Jones. Capsey's unbeaten 67 and Fryea Kemp's quick 16 off 8 balls sealed the win for England.
