India A Women’s Squad Announced for Multi-Format Tour of Australia

The Women’s Selection Committee announced an 18-member squad for the India A women’s upcoming multi-format tour of Australia. The team will play three T20s, three 50-over matches, and a four-day match against Australia A, commencing on August 7th, 2024.
The tour kicks off at Allan Border Field (ABF), Brisbane, where the three T20s will be played. The series then moves to Mackay for the 50-over matches, with the Gold Coast hosting the four-day match.
Minnu Mani will captain the squad, with Shweta Sehrawat as vice-captain. The team features a mix of experienced players and promising talents, including Priya Punia, Kiran Navgire, and Meghna Singh. Wicketkeeping duties will be shared between Uma Chetry and Shipra Giri. Notably, Shabnam Shakeel's inclusion is subject to fitness, with Saima Thakor on standby.
