India's Young gun Trio Added to India’s Squad for First Two Zimbabwe T20Is

India has announced three changes to their squad for the first two games of the five-match T20I series against Zimbabwe. Sai Sudharsan, Jitesh Sharma, and Harshit Rana have been named as replacements for Sanju Samson, Shivam Dube, and Yashasvi Jaiswal. The changes come as the World Cup-winning trio will first return to India with the rest of the ICC T20 World Cup-winning team before departing for Harare.

Jitesh Sharma and Sai Sudharsan, who made their India debuts in 2023, bring a fresh dynamic to the team. They are joined by pacer Harshit Rana, receiving his first national call-up after an impressive IPL 2024 season where he took 19 wickets for Kolkata Knight Riders, contributing significantly to their title victory.

Zimbabwe, too, has named a young side, led by the experienced Sikandar Raza.
