Bangladesh ended Day 3 of their Test against Pakistan at 316/5 in 92 overs, trailing by 132 runs. The umpires called stumps early due to poor light after a productive final session where Bangladesh scored 117 runs, losing only one wicket.

Resuming on 27/0, Bangladesh lost Zakir Hasan (12) early to Naseem Shah. Captain Najmul Hossain Shanto (16) also fell cheaply, leaving Bangladesh in need of a partnership. Mominul Haque (50) and Shadman Islam (93) steadied the innings with a 94-run stand, but both were dismissed by Khurram Shahzad, who claimed three wickets.

In the final session, Mushfiqur Rahim (55*) and Litton Das (52*) led a strong fightback, ensuring Bangladesh finished the day strongly despite the loss of Shakib Al Hasan, who handed Saim Ayub his maiden Test wicket.

With the visitors still 132 runs behind, the match is poised for an intriguing Day 4, where both teams will aim to push for a decisive result.
