India has announced its 15-member squad for the ICC Women's T20 World Cup 2024, featuring the return of wicketkeeper-batter Yastika Bhatia and spin-bowling allrounder Shreyanka Patil, both pending fitness clearance. Patil is recovering from a finger fracture sustained during the Asia Cup opener against Pakistan, where she impressed with figures of 2 for 14. Bhatia, recovering from a knee injury at the NCA in Bengaluru, has been included after missing much of the year due to a hamstring injury.

The squad remains largely unchanged from the one that reached the Women's Asia Cup final. Left-arm spinner Tanuja Kanwar and backup wicketkeeper Uma Chetry, who featured in the Asia Cup, have been named as travelling reserves along with Saima Thakor. Raghvi Bist and Priya Mishra, part of India A's ongoing tour of Australia, are the non-travelling reserves.
